Silvery, Pewter, Pale Pink & Aubergine A Slightly Unusual Vintage Combination

Just how beautiful are these bridesmaids, love the pale silvery pewter gowns and matching wedding bouquets

The Bidesmaids bouquets had a real vintage feel with the silvery greys of the Begonia Rex teamed with the deep aubergine and crystalised pinks of the Calla Lilies and Roses We used these miniture garden style urns again filled with a cococophony of vintage silvery pinks, we've included Roses, Orchids, Peonies and Viburnum OpulusAdd ImageThe Bridal bouquet certainly had a wild and frenzied element to it a bit of vintage fusion if you will but totally appropriate for our lovely bride Zoe Some of the tables were dressed with these lovely silvery grey candelabras, Roses, Orchids, dangly amaranthus and Calla lilies arranged around the top again creating a fabulous antique vintage atmosphere

Totally amazing day, everyone looked great, what a lovely family. The wedding breakfast at Garstang Golf and Country Club who could ask for more. Congratulations you two!

Latte, Mocha, Coffee & Hot Chocolate Vintage Shaded Wedding Flowers

The bouquet I created was in a vintage “Flower Design” hand tied style with Amnesia and Metalina Roses, Quick Sand and Avalanche Roses, Hypnose and Green Tea Roses, Black Dill, Jasmine, Black Inga Berry. Sedum, Crocosmia, Jasmine, Grevillea, Rosemary, Umbrella Fern, Butter Splash laurel, Dracena, Bruneii, Eucalyptus and Grasses. The bouquet was finished with a tulle handle covered in the brides own fabric taken from the hem of her wedding gown. (In Mandy's trial Bouquet we'd used a pale green shaded Illusion but when the Illusion Roses arrived on Friday morning they were a particularly strong shade of pink so we used Green Tea instead)

The Bridesmaid's carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet again with handles covered in the same fabric as their bridesmaid's gowns I love these coffee, mocha, latte, and hot chocolate vintage wedding shades of fresh flowers

The Corsages were created using individuall rolled petals taken from Quick Sand & Amnesia Roses.

The Groom's Boutonniere incorporated a Quick Sand Roses, Sprigs of Crocosmia, Grevillea, Steel Berry, Ruscus & Rolled Dracena Leaves, Rosie incorporated a golden Bullion sphere and wrapped the stem with the same.

The Three cake tops graduating in size were designed to compliment the rest of this exquisite wedding.

Mandy has such wonderful taste and is such a beautiful bride we wish her and her Groom an extremely happy life together.

Exquisite Buttermilk & Gold Vintage Wedding Day

Lindsay and I had worked hard to achieve an indvidual, bespoke look to this quintessentially English wedding day. We imagined the day to be a picture of antique, vintage, elegance, beauty, delicacy and romance.

Jason delivered the bridal bouquets, pinned on all the buttonholes and lit all the lanterns at Church, whilst I completed the decorations in the marquee...

St. Annes Church, Singleton is really beautiful, we decorated the Lytch Gate with swags and lanterns and the arch of the front door, we arranged garden gathered posies of fresh flowers in the porch area and on the windowsills.

The larger designs included Fox tail lily, Rose hips, Stocks, Lissianthus, White Peonies and Roses flowers with that all essential English cottage garden quality that makes that vintage atmosphere so authentic

The Page Boys Matteo & Dario who wore ivory rose buds

The Bridesmaid's looked gorgeous in their antique golden gowns, they reminded me of 1940's Hollywood movie stars.

Lindsay looked simply perfect in her stunning Ian Stuart gown from One & Only Bridal Couture in Preston

Lindsay wore the most beautiful Ian Stuart gown in ivory and gold lace.
The Bridal Bouquets were so exquisite, natural posies of Peonies, Sweet Peas and miniature Oncidium Orchids

Lindsay's brother Scott gave her away

Congratulations to Lindsay & Richard

Then to Staining Golf Club this a superb venue, perfect for a marquee wedding, we found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the views and setting are utterly stunning.

Richard's Boutoniere included a Vendella Rose & a Crystal Blush Calla Lily and gold bullion detail.

The Bridal Bouquet was hand tied and included White Peonies, Eucharis Lily, Oncidium Orchids, Patience, Vendella & Quick Sand Roses, White Jasmine & Lily of the Valley.

Their photographer is a great friend of Flower Design Victor Trusch, he is massively arty and creative, can't wait to see his work from this glorious wedding.

The Bridesmaids posies included Lissianthus, Dill, Stocks and roses

Rowley's Catering were creating a fabulous menu, I loved the canapes on afternoon tea stands, it all really added to the vintage atmosphere.

Each table had a unique table design this one is a three tier crystal cake stand with tiny vintage liquor/shot glasses with tiny posies of delicate blooms

A vintage coffee set in ovory and gold porcelain filled with posies of Zinnia, Peonies, Oncidiums and roses.

The top table and all of the dining tables were dressed with a fabulous brocade table cloth from Creative Cover Hire. We used a series of vintage glass and silver candelsticks with posies of fresh flowers in vintage fruitbowls. The detail was what made this wedding everything had been thought about and considered carefully from table linen to the canapes, from every flower we used to the vintage bus the guests arrived in and age bus the guests arrived in and the whole day felt exceptionally special

Crystal Candelabra's dressed with fresh orchids, roses and jasmine

Each Napkin was dressed with either a chocolate Rugby Ball or an individual fresh flower.

Top table close ups, sundae dishes filled with fresh flowers

The Flower Design Seating Plan framed by fresh Passion Flower and each table was picked out by beautiful flowers.

Bird Cages filled with fresh roses

Crystal Cake Pedestals topped with orchids and roses

This beautiful marquee was by CK Marquees and the Golf Club at Staining was a perfect venue for a wedding celebration.
Lyndsay & Richard get the last word "Thank you for your great ideas & hard work which made our wedding so beautiful, all our guests have been raving about the amazing flowers, I would recommend Flower Design to everyone"
