When I first met up with Katie and her Mum Julie about a year ago we hit it off instantly, Katie has a love of English Literature as I do we both love Jane Austen's Pride Prejudice which was her muse for the planning of this glorious wedding day...

I used Vintage shades within the wedding bouquet including David Austin's finest Patience & Miranda English Garden Roses along with fresh Peonies, Sweet Peas, Love in the Mist, Eucalyptus, Blackberries and Alchemilla Mollis

Julie, Katie's lovely Mum wore a corsage of Phalaenopsis Orchids & Love in the Mist which looked just perfect
Russell and Katie were getting married in front of the fireplace in the Balmoral Suite at Bartle Hall we'd dressed the Registrars table with a beautiful traditional table design of fresh Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Roses and Love in the Mist.
Russell wore an Avalanche Boutonniere with Hydrangea Florets, Astrantia, Freesia and a sprig of fresh fragrant Rosemary
The Uhers wore Avalanche Rose Boutonniere's too but a simple design to the Groom's
Russell's lovely Mum looked fabulous, Rachel had designed an eppaulette corsage of white Phalaenopsis Orchids, Arabicum Chincherinchee, white Agapanthus and fresh Eucalyptus & Ivy leaves.

We always place the corsages high up on the epaulette rather than on the lapel because, to begin with that's really where they should be, but I understand it's rather difficult to attach them to yourself high up on the shoulder so when people are forced to attach them themselves they always put them lower down, unfortunately this has a tendancy to pull on the fabric and mis-shape the gown/suit, and that's why we come along and pin them on the lady guests.
~
For Gentleman we very rarely use the buttonholes provided in suit jackets they tend to be too high up the lapel and unless the gents are seriously tall it looks silly so instead we put the boutonniere over the buttonhole which looks perfect.

The entire Bridal retinue was just stunning in Vanilla and Buttermilk Bridesmaid's gowns
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets of Creme de La Creme, Metalina, Patience & Miranda Roses, Astilbe, Sweet Peas, Hydrangeas, Peonies, Blackberries and Hydrangeas complimented the buttermilk gowns beautifully
Katie looked so dreamy and romantic
Huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Lamping from all of the events team at Flower Design
The professional photographer was Rebecca Webster
The table designs were dripping in pearls and included a luscious selection of vintage flowers arranged in a silver fruit bowl
