Fabulous Wedding Bouquets, Exquisite Bridal Gowns, Awesome Models and Sensational Images by Katy Lunsford

All Images in this post by the super talented Katy Lunsford

I've poured over these images, I've probably looked at them a 100 times at least since the day they landed on my desk, and this is the thing, I love them more and more each time I see them, our beautiful daughter Olivia appears in a few, but that isn't the only reason I love them so much, it's more to do with the femininty, the slightly romantic vintage quality, the composition and oh so many other qualities, well see for yourself.....
~
This is one of my favourite Katy Lunsford Images of a truly gorgeous Bridal Pommander

Lots of photographers have photographed this particular Bridal Bouquet design on lots of different occasions and situations, but by a country mile this is the very best picture of a very tricky filigree wedding bouquet, I love it!!!

The delicious gowns for this entire shoot were provided by the lovely Nikki from The White Closet in West Didsbury, she specialises in a very particular Vintage look, appointments are essential with a possible waiting list of two to three months, so don't just show up!!!

Olivia looks fabulous darling!!!!

The images above were all taken in the very stylish surroundings of Twelve at Marsh Mill, Thornton, my favourite eatery on The Fylde Coast.
~
The action then moved on to The Great Hall at Mains, one of my favourite wedding venues on The Fylde Coast (we'll be there this weekend for their open days but more of that tomorrow!)

The make-up on all of the models was done
by the lovely Emma Draper MUA, she specialises in wedding make up and she's a gorgeous person to boot!!!

Another of my gorgeous girl, "Dreamy"

Amy looked completely stunning in this pale green gown, we used pale green Dianthus in this very green wedding bouquet

Divine Miss Emily, love her in this David Fielden gown very '40's with attitude!

The Great Hall at Mains as ever looked magnificent (and on these particular images a little moody)

Vintage Bartle Hall Wedding Day

When I first met up with Katie and her Mum Julie about a year ago we hit it off instantly, Katie has a love of English Literature as I do we both love Jane Austen's Pride Prejudice which was her muse for the planning of this glorious wedding day...
~
I used Vintage shades within the wedding bouquet including David Austin's finest Patience & Miranda English Garden Roses along with fresh Peonies, Sweet Peas, Love in the Mist, Eucalyptus, Blackberries and Alchemilla Mollis
~
Julie, Katie's lovely Mum wore a corsage of Phalaenopsis Orchids & Love in the Mist which looked just perfect
~

Russell and Katie were getting married in front of the fireplace in the Balmoral Suite at Bartle Hall we'd dressed the Registrars table with a beautiful traditional table design of fresh Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Roses and Love in the Mist.

Russell wore an Avalanche Boutonniere with Hydrangea Florets, Astrantia, Freesia and a sprig of fresh fragrant Rosemary

The Uhers wore Avalanche Rose Boutonniere's too but a simple design to the Groom's

Russell's lovely Mum looked fabulous, Rachel had designed an eppaulette corsage of white Phalaenopsis Orchids, Arabicum Chincherinchee, white Agapanthus and fresh Eucalyptus & Ivy leaves.
~
We always place the corsages high up on the epaulette rather than on the lapel because, to begin with that's really where they should be, but I understand it's rather difficult to attach them to yourself high up on the shoulder so when people are forced to attach them themselves they always put them lower down, unfortunately this has a tendancy to pull on the fabric and mis-shape the gown/suit, and that's why we come along and pin them on the lady guests.
~
For Gentleman we very rarely use the buttonholes provided in suit jackets they tend to be too high up the lapel and unless the gents are seriously tall it looks silly so instead we put the boutonniere over the buttonhole which looks perfect.
~
The Groom's and The Bride's Father's looking very handsome

The Groom's Grandma was wearing a Phalaenopsis Orchid and Blue Delphinium epaulette corsage

The entire Bridal retinue was just stunning in Vanilla and Buttermilk Bridesmaid's gowns

The Bridesmaid's Bouquets of Creme de La Creme, Metalina, Patience & Miranda Roses, Astilbe, Sweet Peas, Hydrangeas, Peonies, Blackberries and Hydrangeas complimented the buttermilk gowns beautifully

Katie looked so dreamy and romantic

Huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Lamping from all of the events team at Flower Design

The professional photographer was Rebecca Webster
The table designs were dripping in pearls and included a luscious selection of vintage flowers arranged in a silver fruit bowl
Dave Myers (Manager) at Bartle oversees everything from start to finish he has a fantastic team we love it when Tracey or Suzanne are doing the table laying cos it's just perfect and our flowers look even better on immaculately set tables.
So a very beautiful wedding and it was lovely to see them all for breakfast yesterday morning, I know you all had a most wonderful and special day, many thanks to you for choosing Flower Design for your wedding flowers
