This is one of the most spectacular settings in our green and pleasant land, I love the English Lake District, it's so fresh and beautiful and the perfect back drop to a lovely intimate wedding.
Jeanette & Graham were to celebrate their marriage in the conservatory, we dressed the very unusual registrars desk with an abundance of soft gentle flowers and foliagesI've used Renate Roses, Singapore Orchids, Tuberosa & Euphorbia Fulgens in the registrars design

Just by the candles I arranged a delicate placement of fresh Lily of the Valley, the heat from the candles would help carry the fragrance
On the Grand Piano I arranged a lovely arrangement of Arums & Delphiniums
The occasional tables were decorated with simple elegant designs using the hotels own bowls & vases
The simple cake was dressed with some complimentary fresh flowers
The apricot & cream wedding bouquet was designed in a traditional cascading style and included Roses, Calla Lilies & Lily of the Valley
Jason & I had a lovely day at The Miller Howe, the staff were superb and really looked after the wedding party superbly, the bedrooms were lovely and the food looked delicious, we thought it was a perfect venue for a small wedding like this. Here's a link

The dining room is just gorgeous, after the ceremony we removed the Pedestal from the conservatory and placed it in the dining room
I placed tiny posies of fresh fragrant Freesia, Roses, Lily of the valley around the arrangement of tables, there was in fact one posy for each lady to take home
On each Napkin I placed a simple Ivy Leaf with a Delphinium Head, this sort of detail only works on such immaculately laundered table linen.
